David is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator whose firm, Holmes Valuation Inc., focuses on the financial issues of family law. David received his CA designation while working for one of the “Big Four” international accounting firms and his CBV designation while working for a boutique business valuation and litigation accounting firm, both in Toronto.

David assists separating individuals by providing expert reports regarding the fair market value of a business or stock options. As well, David can provide an assessment of an individual’s income pursuant to the Federal Child Support Guidelines.

David is an active member of the community and serves as the President of the Georgian Bay District Chartered Accountants Association and a board member and Chair of the Finance and Audit Committees of the North Simcoe-Muskoka Community Care Access Centre. David is also a board member of the Huronia Hospital Foundation.
